The National Office of Airports has appointed four new directors for the major airports in Marrakech, Tangier, Fes, and Agadir as part of its Airports 2030 strategy.
On Friday, the office announced the appointment of Soumia Tabakh as the director of Marrakech Menara Airport, Othman Hassani as the head of Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport, Kamal Ait Cherif as the head of Fes Saïs Airport, and Abdelmonin Outoul as the head of Agadir Al Massira Airport.
These appointments are part of the “Airports 2030” strategy, aimed at supporting major national projects, enhancing air traffic growth, and strengthening the role of Moroccan airports in the ongoing transformation of the sector.
Each airport has its own specific ambitions aligned with national initiatives. Marrakech focuses on enhancing its capacity to support its cultural and tourist appeal, while Tangier is preparing for a new phase of industrial and logistical growth. Fes aims to bolster its spiritual and heritage attractiveness, and Agadir continues to develop sustainable, high-quality tourism.
The office emphasized that the appointment of the new directors marks a new phase centered on innovation, performance quality, and foresight, highlighting the importance of airports in achieving Morocco’s economic, social, and territorial development. It added that the “Airports 2030” strategy has become a key lever for promoting the sector, thanks to qualified expertise, modern infrastructure, and a vision that meets the highest international standards.
