The Moroccan women’s national team under 20 years old has won the title of the North African Union Championship after its well-deserved victory over Egypt with a score of 2-0 in the final match held at the El-Bachir Stadium in Mohammedia.

The match was played at a competitive pace, with the young Moroccan players imposing their style from the early minutes, relying on high pressure and quick passes that unsettled the Egyptian defense. The national team managed to open the scoring in the first half and then reinforced their lead with a second goal after the resumption of play, amidst a lively crowd that passionately supported the team.

This victory solidifies the work being carried out by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation in developing women’s youth categories, and it confirms the progress of the “Atlas Lionesses” at the regional level, as the players demonstrated consistent performance throughout the tournament.

With this title, the women’s under 20 national team continues to strengthen its position both on the continental and North African stages, looking forward to new competitions where the national players aim to maintain positive results and raise the banner of Moroccan women’s football high.
