The Ministry of the Interior reminds citizens who are not yet registered in the electoral lists for the year 2026, and who meet the legal conditions, to quickly submit their registration requests before the legal deadline of December 31, 2025. This reminder is part of the annual review of the general electoral lists for 2026.

The ministry clarified that this procedure is applicable to citizens who are at least 18 years old or will reach this age by March 31, 2026, urging this category to complete the registration process within the legally specified timeframe to ensure their right to participate in the upcoming electoral events.

In this context, the Ministry of the Interior called on voters who have changed their actual residence outside the jurisdiction where they were registered to submit requests to transfer their registration to the new jurisdiction where they have relocated. This should also be done within the same legal timeframe.

The ministry emphasized that voters who have changed their residence within the same jurisdiction are required to inform the relevant local administrative authority of their new address to update their information in the electoral lists.

It was stated that new registration requests or transfer requests can either be submitted directly at the offices of the local administrative authority relevant to their actual residence or through the dedicated online platform: www.listeselectorales.ma.

To facilitate access to information, the Ministry of the Interior confirmed that the toll-free number 2727 remains available for voters who wish to personally verify their status and their data included in the general electoral lists via a text message.

This reminder comes in the context of the commitment to update the electoral lists and ensure their comprehensiveness and accuracy, allowing for broad and organized participation of citizens in the upcoming electoral events.
