Siemens Healthineers Partners with SOS Children’s Villages Morocco to Equip Specialized Health Spaces for Vulnerable Children
Siemens Healthineers has announced a new partnership with SOS Children’s Villages Morocco, aimed at enhancing access to healthcare and supporting the well-being of children deprived of family support. This initiative falls under a shared vision to improve health, psychological, and social services within dedicated spaces in the children’s villages of Dar Bouazza and Dakhla, through funding for modern and integrated health facilities.
This move is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility strategy, which places a central focus on health, education, and community development. It represents a concrete commitment to contribute to the protection of childhood and promote principles of social equity.
Additionally, the project aligns with efforts to achieve sustainable development goals, particularly those related to good health and quality of life.
On December 9, the SOS Children’s Village in Dar Bouazza celebrated the opening of new health and child development facilities, attended by the organization’s president, Amine Demnati, and the general manager of Siemens Healthineers Morocco, Guero Peters, alongside institutional stakeholders and representatives from civil society.
This inauguration marks a crucial milestone in implementing a project that aims to provide a supportive and conducive environment for the physical, psychological, and cognitive development of children. The newly established facilities include:
– A motor therapy room
– A psychological therapy room
– A nursing clinic
– A speech therapy room
These facilities will be equipped with modern and safe equipment, enabling specialists to deliver quality therapeutic services tailored to the individual needs of each child.
Through this project, Siemens Healthineers Morocco reaffirms its commitment to reducing disparities in access to healthcare and establishing safe and stimulating health spaces that help vulnerable children thrive in better conditions.
In his remarks on the occasion, the company’s general manager emphasized that supporting these spaces reflects Siemens Healthineers’ commitment to the health and well-being of children, considering the project a tangible contribution to achieving sustainable development goals and a real opportunity to create better conditions for growth, learning, and prosperity. He also underscored the ambition to make a positive and lasting impact within the community.
Furthermore, the company’s communication director expressed pride in overseeing this project, describing it as a profound human experience that aligns with the organization’s mission to enhance quality of life through health and innovation. She noted that the readiness of the facilities to welcome children is a significant source of pride due to the support they will provide to those in greatest need of equitable healthcare.
This project embodies Siemens Healthineers Morocco’s vision in the field of social responsibility by promoting values of solidarity, supporting vulnerable groups, and contributing to building a fairer and more equitable future for children.
