Ouarzazate: Exceptional Care for Pregnant Women Amid Heavy Snowfall
In a reassuring scene, the health center in Ighrem Nookdal witnessed the birth of a child today, Tuesday, under optimal medical care, despite the difficult weather conditions in the region.
Khadija, who was transferred a few days ago from the village of Aslen to the maternity home in Ighrem Nookdal, expressed her immense happiness and satisfaction with the warm welcome from the medical staff and the high-quality medical services she received, commending the cleanliness and excellent facilities of the health center close to the residents.
This initiative is part of the efforts by local authorities and relevant services to ensure the safety of pregnant women and vulnerable groups, avoiding the challenges of travel amid heavy snowfall affecting areas under the jurisdiction of Ouarzazate, particularly key routes like Ighrem Nookdal and Tizi N’Tichka.
Recently, the regional vigilance committee tasked with addressing the effects of the cold wave held a meeting chaired by the provincial governor, Abdellah Jahiz, to review precautionary measures and enhance the readiness of intervention teams to protect the population and facilitate traffic during these harsh weather conditions.
Authorities confirm ongoing vigilance and intensive coordination with various services to ensure support and care for all citizens, focusing on pregnant women and the most vulnerable groups facing the cold wave and snowfall.
