The Local Organizing Committee for the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025™ has unveiled the official mascot of the tournament, Juha™, just ahead of the regional event taking place in Qatar from December 1 to 18.
The mascot embodies the famous character of Juha, a staple in Arab heritage known for his humor and witty wisdom used to highlight the absurdities of daily life. Juha’s stories, which have crossed generations, are widely cherished in the Arab world, often conveying moral and social messages on facing life’s challenges with a smile.
This beloved comedic character returns to participate in the celebrations for the 2025 edition of the Arab Cup, which aims to unite fans from across the Arab world in a unique celebration of the region’s rich culture and shared passion for football.
Sixteen teams will compete for the title in the tournament. Nine of the top-ranked teams, as determined by FIFA, have automatically qualified, while 14 teams will vie for the remaining seven spots through a series of qualifiers scheduled to take place before the tournament kicks off on November 25 and 26 in Qatar.
Match tickets are available at www.roadtoqatar.qa, starting at 25 Qatari Riyals. Fans can purchase a “Support Your Team” ticket, granting them access to all matches of their favored teams during the group stage. Throughout the tournament, attendees can enjoy a range of cultural and entertainment activities celebrating the Arab World Cup.

Al Bayt Stadium will host the opening match on December 1, featuring the Qatari national team, the host nation, against the winner of the match between Palestine and Libya. The final will take place on December 18 at the iconic Lusail Stadium. Other venues hosting matches during the regional tournament include Ahmed bin Ali Stadium, Education City Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium, and Stadium 974.
The hosting of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025™ is part of a series of global football events taking place in Qatar this year, starting with the ongoing FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025™, which concludes on November 27. The country is also preparing to host the second edition of the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2025™, scheduled for December 10, 13, and 17.
