Two Arrested in Sale for Drug Trafficking and Possession
In the early hours of Wednesday, police in the regional security department of Sale, in coordination with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, arrested two individuals aged 34 and 36, both with criminal records, on suspicion of involvement in drug trafficking and possession.
According to a security source, the suspects were caught red-handed with illegal drugs during a search operation, which resulted in the seizure of 6,054 pills, including 1,000 ecstasy pills and 5,054 pills of the medication Rivotril, along with 328 grams of cocaine and two large knives.
The detained individuals are currently subject to a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, aimed at identifying any additional alleged accomplices in this criminal activity and uncovering their potential connections to drug trafficking networks.
