The water storage in the northern dams has exceeded 870 million cubic meters, with a filling rate of 45.5%.

According to data from the “Maadilan” platform affiliated with the Ministry of Equipment and Water, the major dams in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region recorded approximately 870.4 million cubic meters as of November 24, out of a total capacity exceeding 1.721 billion cubic meters, which equates to a filling rate of 45.5%.

In the Loukos region, the Oued Makhazene Dam, the largest in the area, recorded a storage level of about 493.2 million cubic meters with a filling rate of 73%. Meanwhile, the Dar Kharoufa Dam held 62.5 million cubic meters, with a filling rate of 13%.

In the Tangier-Assila province, the filling level of the April 9 Dam reached 50 million cubic meters, representing 16%, while the Ibn Battuta Dam reached 6.07 million cubic meters, representing 20%.

In the Tetouan province, the Kharroub Dam achieved a filling rate of 52% (99 million cubic meters), and the Nakhlah Dam reached 63% (2.69 million cubic meters), whereas the Cherif Idrissi Dam was at 84% (99 million cubic meters).

In the M’diq-Fnideq province, the Smir Dam recorded 61% (24 million cubic meters). The Moulay Hasan Ben Mehdi Dam in the Fahs-Anjra province reached a storage of 8.2 million cubic meters, with a filling rate of 35%.

The Tangier-Mediterranean Dam, located in the same province, had a filling rate of 56% (12.4 million cubic meters), while the Abdul Karim al-Khattabi Dam in Al Hoceima did not exceed a filling rate of 10% (1.2 million cubic meters).

In Chefchaouen, the local dam reached 84% (10.3 million cubic meters), while the Jummah Dam in Al Hoceima only recorded 13% (0.7 million cubic meters).

On a national level, the total storage of dams reached 5.229 million cubic meters, with a filling rate of approximately 31.2%.
