Interpol President Lauds Morocco as a Model for International Security Cooperation, Awarding It a Special Certificate of Appreciation

In a remarkable gesture, Interpol President Ahmed Naser Al Raisi awarded Morocco a certificate of appreciation during the opening of the 93rd General Assembly of the organization in Marrakech, affirming that the Kingdom is “a land of renewed beauty and rich history.”

Al Raisi praised Morocco’s pioneering role in enhancing international security cooperation, considering its cultural diversity a model to emulate, where Amazigh, Arab, Andalusian, and African influences weave together to reflect the strength of Moroccan harmony.

He also expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for his esteemed patronage of this event, commending the meticulous organization overseen by the government and the General Directorate of National Security, under the leadership of Abdelatif Hammouchi.

Al Raisi emphasized that the Marrakech meeting represents a strategic point to chart the future of international policing, deeming Morocco a reliable partner in safeguarding communities and promoting global security, while commending its contributions to modernizing Interpol’s system since 2021, describing the Kingdom as “a land of openness and authentic generosity.”
