The High Commission for Planning has announced the launch of a bid worth 23,907,510 dirhams (approximately 2.4 million dirhams) to hire 250 temporary workers for the implementation of permanent and periodic statistical surveys for the year 2026. This initiative is part of its commitment to provide decision-makers with accurate and up-to-date data concerning various aspects of the economic and social development in the Kingdom.

The Commission explained that this initiative falls within efforts to enhance the capabilities of the national statistical system, in line with national development goals and to monitor progress in areas related to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the new development model, social protection strategy, employment, housing, poverty reduction, population support programs, and environmental protection.

According to the tender specifications, the statistical surveys program for 2026 focuses on three main axes: surveys among households to collect data on employment dynamics, gender, family structures, living conditions, consumption patterns, and mobility behaviors, along with surveys among companies to monitor economic transformations and dynamics in productive sectors, and finally, surveys on statistical indicators to track prices and prepare economic aggregates and monitor economic conditions.

The temporary workers will collect data from ongoing statistical surveys, including the national employment survey, statistical indicators surveys, continuous surveys among companies, and situational surveys among households and companies, along with periodic surveys such as the national time use survey, in addition to office tasks related to data entry, processing, and quality monitoring.

Temporary agents will be employed for a full year, working 8 hours a day and 6 days a week, with a total daily wage of 150.12 dirhams (net amount of 140 dirhams), along with additional travel compensation of 120 dirhams net per day for travel outside the cities, as well as paid holidays, social and health coverage, and insurance against work-related accidents.

The Commission indicated that eligibility requirements include Moroccan citizenship, obtaining a high school diploma plus at least two years of study, proficiency in computer usage and fluency in Arabic and French, as well as good character, physical fitness, discipline, and teamwork capability.

The Commission affirmed that this operation is a fundamental pillar to ensure a continuous flow of accurate statistical information, enabling public authorities and economic actors to make decisions based on reliable data and enhancing the effectiveness of development programs and projects at all regions of the Kingdom.
