Daira of Attawiya Hosts New Development Consultative Meetings Under the Supervision of the Governor of Qalat Sraghna

This morning, the city of Attawiya hosted the consultative meeting for the Daira of Sahrij–Snahaja, as part of the participatory dynamics initiated by His Majesty’s representative in the Qalat Sraghna region, Mr. Samir Elyazidi. The aim is to prepare a new generation of integrated local development programs.

This meeting saw active participation from the heads of local communities in the district, alongside members of civil society, local administrative officials, and representatives from external services, led by the Secretary-General of the province, Mr. Mohamed Lahbib.

In his guiding remarks, the governor emphasized the importance of this consultative workshop, confirming that the desired development must begin from the ground up, through precise diagnosis of local needs and leveraging economic, social, and environmental potentials. This approach aligns fully with the royal directives calling for spatial justice and the promotion of local areas.

During the meeting, developmental indicators and data regarding infrastructure, education, health, and employment were presented, allowing local stakeholders to express their ideas and proposals aimed at making Attawiya a center for attraction and stability.

The hope is that these meetings, which continue across different districts, will yield a realistic and integrated roadmap that forms the basis for future contracts among various stakeholders. This roadmap aims to meet the population’s expectations, fostering balanced and sustainable development that enhances the status of the Qalat Sraghna region within the regional and national framework.
