Rabat Hosts a Crucial CAF Meeting Ahead of the Awards Ceremony in Preparation for AFCON 2025 and 2026

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will hold a meeting in Rabat on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, to finalize details related to organizing three significant sporting events expected in Morocco and across the African continent in the coming months.

According to the federation’s statement, this meeting is set to take place just before the 2025 CAF Awards ceremony, scheduled for the same evening at the Mohammed VI Multi-Disciplinary University in the capital, Rabat, where top officials of the sport will gather to finalize preparations for the event.

The meeting will also focus on various organizational aspects related to the Africa Cup of Nations for men, hosted by Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, alongside preparations for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, expected to take place from March 17 to April 3, 2026.

The discussion is anticipated to cover logistics, stadiums, transportation, accommodation, and coordinating the work of specialized committees to ensure Morocco is ready to host these continental events under optimal conditions.
