Kosumar Wins Best Exporter Award for 2024 During Agro Export Day 2025

The Kosumar Group has been awarded the Best Exporter for the year 2024 during the first edition of Agro Export Day 2025. The award was presented to the group’s General Manager, Imad Ghamad, in recognition of the group’s performance on an international scale.

The group expressed its gratitude to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Minister Ryad Mezzour, the National Federation of Food Industries (FENAGRI), and its President, Abdelmounaim El Alaj, for organizing the event and honoring its efforts to develop export activities.

Kosumar indicated that its export journey began in 2013, adopting a model focused on quality, adherence to international standards, and operational efficiency, supported by an industrial capacity of 2.5 million tons.

Over more than ten years, the group’s exports reached approximately 6 million tons to more than 90 international markets, operating outside the support system, with the volume of exports in 2024 reaching 653,000 tons to over 50 countries.

The group asserted that this accolade reflects Moroccan expertise in the sugar sector and reinforces the “Made in Morocco” brand’s position linked to the quality of national industry, consistent supply, and commitment to tracking standards and food safety.

In line with its future plans, Kosumar has set a strategic goal of achieving one million tons exported annually starting from 2026, by enhancing industrial and logistical capabilities and opening new markets, while continuing its commitment to providing sugar for the national market and contributing to strengthening the presence of “Made in Morocco” on the international stage.
