Aziz Akhannouch, the president of the National Rally of Independents, arrived in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region on Saturday morning for the eighth stop of the communication series “Path of Achievements,” where he reviewed what the party describes as the “social transformations” that accompanied the government’s work in recent years.

During his speech before party leaders and activists, Akhannouch emphasized that “the stakes are not partisan,” but rather related to serving citizens and listening to them. He added that “true commitment is the one that leaves an impact on people’s lives.” He highlighted that the government is trying to transform promises into tangible projects that affect education, employment, and social justice, noting that the road remains long “to reach the level of impact that Moroccans expect.”

In this context, the Prime Minister spoke about what he called the “shift” in the health coverage sector, clarifying that millions of Moroccans now benefit from the same rights to treatment and medical services, regardless of their professional status. He also pointed out that 4 million families are receiving direct social support, with amounts ranging from 500 to 1,200 dirhams monthly, stressing that the announced increase will be disbursed by the end of the current month.

Regarding education and health, Akhannouch discussed the expansion of “Pioneering Schools” within two years and described the noticeable changes in health centers and hospitals. He showcased notable health projects in the region, including the reconstruction of Ibn Sina Hospital, set to open in May 2026, Tamesna’s access hospital, which will open its doors next January, as well as the progress in the construction of Sidi Yiya Hospital, and the nearing readiness of the psychiatric hospital in Kénitra by the end of the year.

Akhannouch concluded by affirming that these projects “belong to the citizens before any other party,” considering them steps capable of changing the daily lives of a wide range of families within the region and across the country.
