The Kenitra Athletic Club secured a valuable victory against their guests, Ifri Ti Znit, with a score of 2-1 in the match held today as part of the third round of the National Second Division Championship.
Mohamed Dwaik opened the scoring for KAC in the first half, before a significant mistake by defender Mohamed Dadi allowed a Ti Znit striker to equalize. Despite the absence of Kenitra fans in the stands, the team ended the first half level at one goal apiece.
In the second half, Kenitra’s players continued to apply pressure until Mohamed Benour scored the second goal, granting his team a crucial victory and the three match points.
With this win, Kenitra raised their points tally to six from two wins and one loss, placing them third in the standings, behind leaders Mouloudia Oujda and second-placed Chabab Mohammedia.
