The Ministry of Health and Social Protection announced today that it has referred the final report prepared by its General Inspectorate regarding the recorded deaths at a public hospital in Agadir to the relevant public prosecutor, in order to initiate a judicial investigation into the matter.
In an official statement, the ministry indicated that it has decided to temporarily suspend the individuals involved until the ongoing judicial and administrative procedures are completed, emphasizing its commitment to ensuring the highest levels of transparency and safeguarding the rights of all parties concerned.
The statement added that the ministry is closely monitoring the case within its institutional responsibility towards citizens, reiterating its ongoing efforts to improve the quality of health services and to enhance public trust in public hospitals, in line with the reform agenda for the national health system.
The ministry confirmed that the national public will be updated on further developments as new information becomes available regarding this case.
