The government council discusses strategic agreements and senior appointments
Today, Thursday, the government council convenes under the leadership of Aziz Akhannouch, the Prime Minister, to discuss a set of projects scheduled on the agenda.
A statement from the Prime Minister’s office mentioned that the council will initially review five draft decrees, with the most notable being a project related to the Administrative Council of the National Social Security Fund, and a project that determines the list of universities and institutions that have partnership agreements with the state in the fields of education, training, and scientific research.
The council will also discuss projects granting licenses to Maroc Telecom, Meditel, and Wana Corporate to establish and operate public communication networks based on fifth-generation mobile technologies.
In the context of international relations, the council will review an agreement between the Moroccan government and the government of the Republic of Iraq concerning the transfer of sentenced individuals based on the 1983 Riyadh Agreement, as well as a draft law to approve this agreement.
