The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened on Tuesday with a slight rise and relative stability, as the main indices maintained stable levels and showed a modest improvement in overall market performance. The “MAZ” index closed at 18,693.44 points, marking an increase of 0.15%, reflecting cautious optimism among investors.

Similarly, the “MASI.20” index, which tracks the largest 20 listed companies, improved by 0.20% to 1,514.58 points, confirming continued investor interest in large companies with stable performance.

It is noteworthy that the “MASI.ESG” index, which reflects the trend towards responsible investment, recorded a rise of 0.41% to reach 1,273.58 points, indicating a growing interest in companies that adhere to social and environmental standards.

In contrast, the small and medium enterprises sector recorded a decline, with the “MASI Mid and Small Cap” index closing at 1,860.41 points, down by 0.44%. This highlights some of the pressures this sector faces compared to the larger indices.
