Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has launched the tenth edition of its global charitable campaign “A Kilo of Kindness” in Morocco, celebrating a decade of solidarity and support for communities in need around the world. This initiative will run from October 13 to November 14, 2025, involving more than 80 Mövenpick hotels and resorts across over 30 countries.

The campaign invites hotel guests, staff, and the local community to contribute donations such as food, clothing, school supplies, and other essential items, which can be dropped off at participating locations. In Morocco, Mövenpick hotels in Casablanca and Marrakech are taking part in this international effort in collaboration with local associations focused on child protection. Mövenpick Casablanca supports “Dar Al-Hassna” to provide clothes and bedding for underprivileged children, while Mövenpick Marrakech collaborates with “Hope Childhood Morocco” to supply clothing, food, and school materials to impoverished families.

Launched in 2015, the campaign aims to emphasize that every donation, no matter how small, can make a significant difference. Over the past ten years, the initiative has supported hundreds of charities and collected more than 100,000 kilograms of donations, reaffirming that generosity and solidarity know no bounds.

The campaign relies on the participation of guests and Mövenpick’s Heartists®, who enthusiastically contribute to the initiative, strengthening the ties between the hotels and local communities. This allows children access to schoolbooks and families to obtain clothing and essential meals.

In this context, Benoît Racle, Global Brand President of Mövenpick, stated, “Celebrating ten years of ‘A Kilo of Kindness’ is an opportunity to showcase what can be achieved when collective generosity comes together. Giving is part of Mövenpick’s philosophy, and this anniversary highlights the importance of donations, the communities benefited, and the lives transformed through our brand’s spirit of solidarity.”

The tenth edition of the campaign coincides with Global Kindness Week, providing it with broader resonance and underscoring Mövenpick’s commitment to fostering human connections and creating a lasting positive impact, not only during major events but also in the everyday details of warmly welcoming guests and the small initiatives of employees.

Mövenpick opens the door for everyone—guests, travelers, and local residents—to donate non-perishable food items, clothing, books, toys, and sports equipment in the lobbies of participating hotels, which will be fully delivered to local associations for direct distribution to those in need.
