Morocco is set to welcome 15 million tourists by the end of September 2025, marking a 14% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, Social Economy, and Solidarity.
In September alone, 1.4 million tourists arrived, reflecting a 9% rise and indicating a continued robust recovery for the tourism sector since the beginning of the year. The statement highlighted that this performance is attributed to enhanced air connectivity, intensive promotional campaigns, and improvements in the tourist experience across various Moroccan destinations.
Tourism Minister Fatima Zahra Amour noted that this record figure reflects the success of the government’s strategy aimed at making tourism a comprehensive economic driver, reaffirming the commitment to support this vital sector and expand its impact across all regions.
