King Mohammed VI: There Is No Difference Between Moroccans from Within and Moroccans from Tindouf, and Morocco Extends Its Hand to Its Children
His Majesty King Mohammed VI delivered a historic royal speech on Friday evening, following the adoption of the proposal for autonomy under Moroccan sovereignty by the United Nations Security Council, which is considered the realistic and final framework for resolving the issue of Western Sahara.
In his address, His Majesty renewed his call for those held in the Tindouf camps to return to their homeland, emphasizing that Morocco is always extending its hand to its children. He stated that there is no difference between the Moroccans in Tindouf and those in Morocco because they are all children of one nation, united by a shared history and common destiny.
The royal speech comes at a moment deemed pivotal by many observers regarding the national cause, following widespread support for the Moroccan proposal within the Security Council, recognizing it as a realistic and sustainable solution to the fabricated conflict over the Sahara.
