The seminar organized on October 24, 2025, at the Royal College of Higher Military Studies in Kénitra concluded. This event was part of the 2025 action plan for the “5+5 Defense” initiative, under the motto: “Challenges of Influence and Information Warfare in Contemporary Crises and Conflicts.”

The seminar brought together a distinguished group of military personnel and academic researchers from inside and outside the Kingdom, opening the door for exchanging insights and knowledge about the nature of modern conflicts, which are no longer limited to armed battles but also include media influence and artificial intelligence.

Participants focused during the sessions on the theoretical foundations of combating misinformation, examined the operational dimensions of information warfare and its future prospects, and discussed the construction of a media barrier to protect societies and states from misinformation and cyberattacks.

The seminar emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts among the countries in the “5+5 Defense” space, strengthening cybersecurity and media security, and fortifying the regional landscape against information-related threats, in alignment with the royal vision to enhance collective security and mutual defense.
