El Moussaoui: The Government is Ready for Dialogue with “Generation Z” and Affirms its Commitment to Accountability and Transparency

Younes El Moussaoui, Minister of Economic Integration, Small Enterprises, and Employment, confirmed in an interview with the online newspaper Hespress that the government is prepared to open channels of dialogue with the “Generation Z” movement, which has recently protested demanding the resignation of the government and accountability from officials, in addition to improving conditions in employment and health sectors.

The minister indicated that the government is ready to initiate direct dialogue with youth, provided they present a clear demand file outlining the points they wish to discuss. El Moussaoui stated, “It is perfectly natural to be prepared for accountability, as there is no responsibility without it,” affirming the government’s commitment to transparency and oversight of its performance.

The minister emphasized the government’s rejection of any attempts at political exploitation of protests, noting that the current phase requires confronting facts and listening to the demands of youth directly without political intermediaries.

El Moussaoui also highlighted the importance of listening to the youth, describing “Generation Z” as a vital and influential segment of society. He clarified that the government is working to create job opportunities and improve essential services in health and education, considering these areas a priority within its reform programs.
