Tata Provincial Council Approves 2026 Budget and Launches New Social and Medical Programs
The Tata Provincial Council approved the 2026 budget during its regular session held yesterday, alongside a series of agreements aimed at social, medical, and integration initiatives.
Council members adopted two agreements to organize medical caravans and support women in vulnerable situations, in partnership with the regional health offices and the National Solidarity Agency, as well as the regional association for vulnerable women.
Additionally, the council gave the green light to sign an addendum to an agreement concerning the establishment and equipment of a guidance and support center for individuals with disabilities in the Fum al-Hisn municipality, in collaboration with the Regional Human Development Committee and the Agency for the Development of Oasis Areas and Argan Trees (Andzou), as well as the municipalities of Fum al-Hisn and Timnart.
In this framework, a specific agreement was also adopted to support individuals with disabilities, in partnership with the “Hope” association.
Among the planned projects, a forum will be organized to promote local heritage and products, as a step to enhance the cultural and economic potential of the region.
The session concluded with the unanimous approval of new allocations within the general budget for 2026, aligning with the social and regional development priorities of the province.
