The Royal Armed Forces Commemorate Moroccan Equestrian Heritage at the El Jadida Exhibition
In accordance with the royal directives of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist and protect him, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, the Royal Armed Forces participate in the sixteenth edition of the El Jadida Horse Exhibition, organized from September 29 to October 5, 2025.
This year, the Royal Armed Forces’ participation features a historical exhibition organized by the Military History Directorate, under the theme “Caring for Horses in Morocco: A Deep-rooted Heritage,” highlighting the profound legacy of horses and horsemanship in the Kingdom throughout the ages.
The exhibition showcases the prominent role of horses in various spiritual, scientific, cultural, and military aspects, emphasizing the attention this heritage has received from the sultans and kings of Morocco, particularly during the era of the Cherifian Alaouite dynasty, where it was firmly established as a symbol of Moroccan identity.
The Royal Armed Forces’ area includes a museum rich in artworks, historical documents, rare photographs, and artifacts, along with visual presentations documenting the status of horses in Morocco’s history, focusing on the importance of their protection and valorization.
Additionally, the Cavalry Inspection of the Royal Armed Forces will present a special exhibit on the care of horses within military units, alongside various dynamic shows and active participation in the different competitions held during the exhibition.
