President of the Portuguese Football Federation Praises Morocco, Asserts: World Cup 2030 Will Be an Extraordinary Event
Pedro Proença, President of the Portuguese Football Federation, expressed his great satisfaction following his official visit to Morocco, aimed at coordinating efforts among the three federations (Morocco, Portugal, and Spain) to ensure the successful organization of the 2030 World Cup.
In a statement to the official website of the Portuguese Federation, Proença said: “The 2030 World Cup will be a historical and monumental event, a defining moment for Portugal, Morocco, and Spain.”
He also commended the warm reception the Portuguese delegation received in the kingdom, stating: “On behalf of the Portuguese Football Federation, I extend my heartfelt thanks to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, led by Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa, for the hospitality and kindness we experienced.”
Proença emphasized that cooperation and the exchange of experiences among the three federations will be a fundamental pillar for organizing a memorable World Cup.
It is worth noting that Proença’s visit to Morocco included a tour alongside the Portuguese delegation, during which they inspected the sports infrastructure, including the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat and the Mohammed VI Football Complex.
