Central African Republic President Praises King Mohammed VI’s Leadership and African Vision
Central African Republic President, Professor Faustin-Archange Touadéra, expressed his admiration on Sunday in Casablanca for the “enlightened” and “exemplary” leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, highlighting a strong commitment to a united and prosperous Africa.
This statement was made during the opening of an investment roundtable dedicated to mobilizing funding for the National Development Plan 2024-2028 of the Central African Republic, organized on September 14 and 15 in Casablanca. Touadéra emphasized that the royal vision is clearly reflected in the warm reception of this meeting, which holds vital importance for the people of the Central African Republic.
President Touadéra also praised the extraordinary resilience of the Moroccan people, their unwavering dedication, and the strong bonds of friendship and cooperation between Morocco and the Central African Republic. He noted that his country, after decades of conflict and fragility, is now moving towards reconstruction and sustainable development, relying on the National Development Plan 2024-2028 as a fundamental framework to improve the living conditions of its citizens.
The opening ceremony of this roundtable was attended by several Moroccan ministers and representatives from international institutions, including Minister of Economy and Finance Nadia Fettah, as well as representatives from the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa, the European Commission, the African Development Bank group, the United Nations system, and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
