The President of the Central African Republic, Faustin-Archange Touadéra, praised, in Casablanca, the “visionary leadership and exemplary role” of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, and his efforts in establishing a vision for a united and prosperous Africa.
In his speech during the opening of the roundtable on investment for funding the national development plan 2024-2028 for his country, Touadéra expressed his deep gratitude to the King for hosting this important meeting, considering that the warm reception given to the delegation reflects the values of solidarity and friendship that unite Rabat and Bangui.
The President noted that the Moroccan people exemplify resilience and commitment to peace, stability, and development. He emphasized that his country, which has suffered for decades from conflicts and instability, has now entered a new phase of reconstruction and sustainable development. He described the Central African Republic as “a land full of promise, rich in resources and strategically located,” confirming that the development plan 2024-2028 will serve as the reference framework to improve the living conditions of the population in the coming years.
The opening ceremony also featured speeches from several international partners, alongside the presence of Moroccan government officials, diplomats, and representatives from both the public and private sectors.
