A sudden halt has occurred on the ticket sales website for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco due to overwhelming demand.

This morning, the organizing committee for the Africa Cup of Nations “Morocco 2025” launched the first phase of ticket sales for the tournament. However, fans were surprised by the malfunction of the online platform, which stopped functioning for hours, leading to a wave of anger and dissatisfaction.

The sales began at noon, but supporters encountered technical issues that prevented them from completing their purchases. A formal notice appeared on the website from CAF stating: “Tickets are temporarily unavailable due to high demand. Thank you for your understanding.”

Despite more than two hours passing since the process commenced, the website remained out of service, intensifying the criticism from fans eagerly anticipating the start of reservations for the upcoming continental celebration.

It is worth noting that the first phase of ticket sales is exclusively for bank cardholders with VISA services and will continue until September 27, with the second phase open to the public starting Saturday, September 27, at 2 PM.

Moroccan and African fans, who are eagerly awaiting this historic edition of the tournament, hope that these technical problems will be resolved quickly to avoid a repeat during the official sale of tens of thousands of tickets available to the public.
