Sofiane Boufal: “I am happy to return to the Moroccan national team and ready to give my all”
Sofiane Boufal, a player for the Moroccan national team, expressed his happiness at returning to the “Lions” and participating in an important match against Niger in the World Cup qualifiers, scheduled for Friday at 20:00 GMT.
In statements to the official website of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Boufal said, “I am very happy to be back, and I received a wonderful welcome from everyone. I am excited to return to this level.”
He added: “I thank coach Walid Regragui, who has always kept in touch with me and inquired about my news. He has given me his trust again. I haven’t met all the players yet, but I feel proud to be here and look forward to getting to know everyone.”
He continued: “I hope to be an asset to the team, and I want to give my best to prove my abilities to the coach and the fans.”
