Herrera Leads Morocco-Brazil Clash in Youth World Cup
The International Federation of Football (FIFA) has appointed Costa Rican Keylor Herrera as the main referee for the Moroccan national team’s match against Brazil in the second round of the group stage of the Under-20 World Cup.
Herrera will be assisted by his fellow countrymen William Shaw and Victor Ramirez, while the role of fourth official has been assigned to American Joe Dickerson, and the fifth official to his compatriot Logan Brown.
The “Atlas Cubs” approach this matchup with high spirits, after their impressive victory over Spain (2-0) in the opening of their World Cup campaign. They will be looking to confirm their strength against Brazil this coming Thursday at midnight Moroccan time, at the Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos Stadium in Santiago, Chile.
