CTM Group Launches Urban Transport Management in Fez as Part of National Strategy to Modernize Public Mobility
CTM Group has officially announced the launch of its new branch “Issal Fès,” managing urban bus transport in the city of Fez, following the signing of a partnership agreement with the city council on September 11, 2025.
This new positioning aligns with CTM’s strategy of diversification and repositioning, building on a similar experience in the city of Tetouan. The group reaffirms its commitment to the national drive to enhance and modernize urban transport services, which the Ministry of the Interior has initiated as part of an ambitious national program.
The program aims to provide 3,746 buses for 37 delegated authorities across various regions of the country, with a total budget estimated at 11 billion dirhams, reflecting the significant stakes in improving the quality of public transport within cities.
The Fez project will be implemented gradually over the next six months, pending the delivery of a new batch of buses ordered under a public tender launched by the delegated authority. This phase aims to establish a comprehensive and effective transport network that meets the population’s needs and aligns with modern quality and safety standards.
CTM’s entry into this vital sector comes in light of ongoing preparations for hosting the Africa Cup of Nations in 2025 and the World Cup in 2030, where urban transport is a crucial pillar for the success of these major events, providing modern and safe infrastructure that reflects Morocco’s image as an advanced international destination.
