Morocco is preparing for a high-level visit that reflects the dynamic relations between Rabat and New Delhi, as Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh embarks on an official tour from September 21 to 24, 2025. This marks the first visit of an Indian official in this position to a North African country.
According to Indian media, the purpose of this visit is to enhance military cooperation between the two nations and to expand partnership opportunities in the defense industry.
This move underscores New Delhi’s increasing interest in deepening its presence on the African continent amid ongoing geopolitical and economic transformations globally.
Additionally, this high-level visit is a precursor to strengthening bilateral relations ahead of the upcoming India-Africa Forum Summit scheduled for next year.
