Today, the city of Marrakech hosted the annual general meeting of the Kawkab Marrakech Football Club for the 2024-2025 sports season. The event was attended by the team president Idriss Hanifa, members of the management committee, as well as sports figures and stakeholders.
The meeting was marked by the announcement of Fatima Zahra Mansouri, the city’s mayor, being appointed as the club’s honorary president. This move was described by the Kawkab’s president as one that carries symbolic importance to support the team’s journey in the upcoming phase.
Additionally, the literary and financial reports were approved, with the latter showing that the club’s revenues reached 11,860,000 dirhams. This includes a grant from the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (5 million dirhams), a grant from the Marrakech-Safi Regional Council (2 million dirhams), as well as support from the Marrakech municipality and the Ministry of National Education. Meanwhile, expenses reached 11,850,176 dirhams, allocated for players’ wages, technical staff, transportation, accommodation, nutrition, and taxes, under a partnership agreement with KACM Management.
The financial report concluded that the bank balance as of June 30, 2025, was 6,209.03 dirhams, with a slight surplus of 9,824 dirhams.
At the end of the meeting, Idriss Hanifa confirmed that the team would host its official matches at the Al-Harthi Stadium, while the Grand Stadium of Marrakech would be designated for major matches expected to attract large audiences against clubs like Raja, Wydad, and Royal Army.
