Two Arrested in Agadir for Suspected Involvement in Mysterious Death and Abandonment of Body Near Hospital

In the early hours of Friday, August 15, the Criminal Investigation Division in Agadir, in coordination with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, arrested two individuals aged 42 and 51 on suspicion of their involvement in a case of death under suspicious circumstances and the abandonment of a body near a public hospital.

Preliminary investigations revealed the discovery of a woman’s body near one of the hospitals. Further inquiries indicated that the suspects had earlier transported her to a private clinic for emergency treatment, then abandoned her after she passed away and left the scene.

The identity of the victim has been established, and her body has been deposited in the morgue for autopsy. Meanwhile, the suspects have been placed in custody at the request of the public prosecutor, pending further investigation.

During the arrest, police seized around five kilograms of smuggled tobacco belonging to one of the suspects, which has been collected as evidence in the case.

Available data suggests that the suspects were with the victim on the night of the incident and were in an advanced state of intoxication. Police continue their investigations to determine the circumstances surrounding the death and whether it is linked to any criminal act.
