Casablanca Stock Exchange opened its trading on Tuesday in the red, with its main index, the MASI, declining by 0.13% to settle at 19,719.72 points.
The MASI.20 index, which reflects the performance of 20 listed companies, fell by 0.14% to 1,612.12 points, while the MASI.ESG index, representing the best-rated companies, recorded a loss of 0.11%, closing at 1,347.75 points.
Meanwhile, the MASI Mid and Small Cap index, which tracks the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises listed on the exchange, decreased by 0.05% to 1,903.95 points.
Among individual stocks, the most significant declines were seen from Mechanical Achievements Company (-3.95% / 533.1 dirhams), Stockfis North Africa (-2.65% / 99.3 dirhams), Attahol (-2.08% / 93.01 dirhams), Cartier Al-Saadah (-1.66% / 40.32 dirhams), and Strock for Industry (-1.64% / 228.2 dirhams).
On the other hand, the strongest gains were recorded by Risma (+2.8% / 398.9 dirhams), Ecosystem (+2.57% / 1,276 dirhams), Snipe (+2.42% / 699.7 dirhams), Ab Morocco.com (+1.38% / 81 dirhams), and Colorado (+1.14% / 83.99 dirhams).
The MASI index had closed the previous day, Monday, with a loss of 0.5%.
