The Attorney General reveals new details in the case of Sion Shimon in Casablanca.

The Attorney General at the Casablanca Appeals Court issued a statement outlining new details regarding the case of Sion Shimon and Harim Baruch Asdon, following the circulation of scattered information about his situation on social media.

According to the statement, two individuals filed a complaint with the police on August 11, 2025, stating that their employer had disappeared and that there had been no contact with him, even though his car was parked in front of his house. Following this, members of the judicial police arrived at the scene, where they found the door locked. After opening it with the help of an expert, they discovered the individual unconscious on a sofa in the ground floor but still alive, and he was immediately taken to the hospital.

Investigations conducted inside and outside the house revealed various tools in the garden, including a ladder, saw, hoe, and scissors, as well as remnants of cut grass and signs of pruning on the trees. Personal belongings were also found, including a phone, two laptops, and a collection of neatly arranged books, without any signs of break-in or disorder.

Footage extracted from a security camera installed in a house about 300 meters away showed that Shimon arrived on August 9 at 10:36 AM in his car, before parking it in front of his house and entering alone while wearing the same clothes he was later found in. According to the same footage, the car remained in place until the police arrived on August 11.

The field research included the collection of biological samples from the tools and various equipment in the house, the results of which indicated the presence of the individual’s fingerprints only. The police also interviewed a construction worker from the adjacent house who confirmed seeing Shimon on the afternoon of Saturday, August 9, on the ladder pruning the trees until around 5 PM. The homeowner stated he had asked Shimon to trim his garden, and this was agreed upon on the mentioned date.

The statement confirmed that investigations are still ongoing in this case, and appropriate legal actions will be taken upon their completion.
