Amidst his transfer to Wydad Athletic Club for a two-season stint, South African star Thimbyonkosi Lorch has penned an emotional farewell message to Mamelodi Sundowns via his official Instagram account. He expressed his deep gratitude to the club’s management, his teammates, and the fans for their support throughout his time with the team.
Lorch stated, “As I embark on a new chapter in my career, I would like to thank Mamelodi Sundowns for their warm welcome, support, and nurturing. I also extend my appreciation to the president and board of directors for giving me the opportunity to soar, and I am grateful to my teammates, coaches, and the technical staff for our time together.”
Lorch returns to the Red Castle following an impressive performance during his previous loan period, particularly at the FIFA Club World Cup, and is expected to rejoin the team’s training sessions next Monday.
