The national Moroccan team for local players completed its preparations on Friday in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, ahead of the highly anticipated final tomorrow, Saturday, against Madagascar in the African Nations Championship 2024.

The final training session was filled with excitement and discipline, as the players appeared fully focused and eager to add another title to the national football record. Led by coach Tarik Skitwi, the team aims to claim their third continental title in Morocco’s history following successes in 2018 and 2020.

The “Atlas Lions” secured their place in the final after a tough and thrilling victory over Senegal, winning 1-0 in the semi-finals, while Madagascar reached the final for the first time in their history, creating a major surprise by progressing to this stage.

In media statements, Moroccan players expressed their great optimism about securing the title. Mohamed Mofid confirmed that the team is fully prepared for the challenge, while Imad Rihani emphasized that the preparations have taken place in ideal conditions, expressing the national players’ ambition to bring the trophy back to Morocco.

The match will take place tomorrow, Saturday, at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi, starting at 4 PM Moroccan time, promising to be an exciting and competitive encounter.
