The Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has reached an agreement with Manchester City for his transfer to the English team after concluding his time with Paris Saint-Germain.
According to “L’Equipe,” he has been in contact with Spanish coach Pep Guardiola, and the 26-year-old is on the verge of joining the English club. The report also indicated that he has been in negotiations with City for weeks, and the club is awaiting the departure of their Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson to Galatasaray in Turkey to announce the signing of the former AC Milan keeper.
Manchester City is expected to finalize an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to acquire Donnarumma for €40 million, in addition to €15 million to be paid later as incentives.
It is noteworthy that Paris Saint-Germain signed goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier from Lille on Saturday for €55 million, and he will become the number one keeper.
