Casablanca: Arrest of Two Brothers Involved in Prescription Fraud and Drug Trafficking
The judicial police in the Sidi Bernoussi district of Casablanca arrested two brothers, including a woman, aged 23 and 27, on Tuesday, August 26, on suspicion of being involved in cases related to forgery and drug trafficking.
The suspects were caught in the act while in possession of drugs. A search of the vehicle they were using led to the seizure of 1,720 pills of various narcotic types, along with a number of forged medical certificates and blank documents containing counterfeit stamps.
The suspects have been placed in custody, pending an investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor, to determine the full extent of their criminal activities and to apprehend any other individuals involved in these acts.
