“Jabrait”.. An Algerian Intelligence Arm to Distort and Undermine Morocco’s Stability
A clear warning to anyone who thinks that what is published under the name “Jabrait” is genuine journalism: what is happening is a meticulously organized Algerian intelligence campaign aimed at distorting facts and planting doubt in anything national. “Jabrait” is not media; it is a paid tool for spreading lies and unverified leaks, targeting symbols of the Moroccan state, primarily Mr. Abdelatif Hammouchi, the guardian of the nation and a man who cannot be bought or infiltrated.
This campaign relies on a double tactic: first, spreading unconfirmed leaks to create confusion; and second, the grand lie that portrays the state as powerless, the king as weak, and Morocco on the brink of collapse. It began with leaks regarding properties associated with Fatima Zahra Mansouri, then extended to properties associated with Hlal Wahbi, before moving on to personal files of security officials, with impossible claims of the intelligence conducting a coup against the king or imposing a direction on the Crown Prince. The reality proves the exact opposite: Moroccan intelligence is not equipped militarily for any coup, the army is independent, and the system’s security is safeguarded by strong international relations, while the king follows up on major projects and achieves accomplishments both domestically and internationally.
What “Jabrait” publishes is nothing but distorted fragments of information, aimed at dismantling trust in the state and provoking political and social chaos, using a psychological war conducted from behind screens, by fingers that dare not appear. Anyone participating in spreading these lies without verification, without context, and without the right to reply, does not engage in journalism but contributes to extortion and becomes complicit in the media crime itself.
The assault on Hammouchi is not a personal attack; it is an assault on state institutions and on Moroccans’ trust in their national symbols. Silence in the face of this misinformation is treachery because the defense here is not about an individual, but about the dignity of the homeland, the security of the people, and institutions that are run with sweat and blood, not with phones.
The message is clear: Morocco is stable, state institutions are strong, the king is capable, and intelligence operates according to the law. Any attempt to mislead public opinion or undermine stability, especially from an Algerian intelligence operation, will not change reality nor shake the solidity of the homeland. Those who applaud this campaign are either victims of superficiality or complicit in the deception because knowing who is behind these lies and who funds them is the difference between loyalty to the homeland and treachery.
