It appears that Moroccan international Amine Adli, star of Bayer Leverkusen, is on the verge of embarking on a new and exciting journey in the Premier League, as he is very close to joining Bournemouth during the current summer transfer window.
According to transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs have reached a final agreement regarding the deal, which is valued at a total of €29 million. Leverkusen will receive €21 million as a fixed payment, along with €8 million in performance-related bonuses. Adli is set to undergo a medical examination within the next 24 hours in preparation for his official transfer.
Adli has been one of the key pillars of coach Xabi Alonso’s team and was a pivotal element in the lineup that led Leverkusen to an extraordinary season, culminating in the club’s historic treble, including the “Golden League.” Throughout his time with the team, the Moroccan player participated in 142 official matches, scoring 23 goals and providing 24 assists.
Adli’s move to the Premier League represents a significant step in his professional career, as it will give him the opportunity to prove himself in one of the most competitive leagues in the world, while also enhancing his status among the elite Moroccan players in Europe.
Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen faces the challenge of replacing their midfield star, as reports have indicated that the German club’s management has included Moroccan-French player Elias Ben Saïa, a standout from Monaco, among the potential candidates to fill Adli’s shoes next season.
