Abdellatif Hammouchi Welcomes Major General Khalid bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Head of the Qatari and Arab Police Sports Federation
Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security and Head of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance, received Major General Khalid bin Hamad Al Attiyah, President of the Qatari and Arab Police Sports Federation, on Monday in Rabat.
During the meeting, Al Attiyah expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Hammouchi on behalf of the Arab Police Sports Federation for his ongoing support, affirming that this contributes to enhancing Arab police sports and strengthening cooperation among Arab security agencies to support collective security.
In turn, Hammouchi praised Al Attiyah’s efforts in developing Arab police sports, highlighting its role in enhancing the capabilities of security personnel and fostering integration among agencies.
The meeting also discussed exchanging viewpoints on ways to enhance cooperation in the field of police sports and the mechanisms for developing joint programs that support Arab police work and strengthen its unity and cohesion.
Additionally, both parties discussed the ongoing preparations for the 49th General Assembly of the Arab Police Sports Federation, as well as the 119th and 120th Executive Bureau meetings and the upcoming elections for the 2026-2030 term, emphasizing the importance of these events to be hosted by Qatar.
This meeting reflects the strong fraternal relations between Morocco and Qatar, and both countries’ efforts to develop police sports to improve the effectiveness of security agencies and enhance collective Arab security.
