“Ayyta: Extension and Continuity”: A Title for an Artistic Night in Rabat
The Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, in partnership with the National Radio and Television Company, is organizing the third edition of the “Ayyta Night” event, celebrating this authentic musical heritage.
The Mohamed V Theater will witness this celebration, where the organizers aim to cement this historical musical style within the national artistic memory and affirm its symbolism as a part of Moroccan identity.
This event will feature a selection of prominent Ayyta elders from various regions renowned for this musical genre, including artists “Hajib” and “Jamal Al-Zrahouni,” with media personality “Mariam Kassiri” hosting the evening.
It is worth noting that the Ayyta Night is the result of efforts by artist “Hajib Farhan” and producer “Mohammed Al-Saudi,” who are committed to instilling the significance of Ayyta in the minds and tastes of upcoming generations, highlighting its meanings and ideas.
