Stoke City is close to signing RS Berkane midfielder Mamadou Lamine Kamara.
The English club has reached an agreement with the Moroccan team to contract the young Senegalese player on a deal that spans four seasons, pending a medical examination that Kamara will undergo in England in the coming hours.
Kamara, who is 22 years old, is currently in England after attracting interest from several prominent European clubs since the start of the summer transfer window, including Crystal Palace, Fenerbahçe, Atlético Madrid, Villarreal, Udinese, and Bologna.
RS Berkane hopes to market their player for a fee between €4 million and €5 million, even though his current market value on Transfermarkt is only €1.4 million.
Kamara has an impressive record with the Senegalese national teams, having represented his country at all age levels, from under-17s to the senior team, reflecting his continuous development and promising potential that catches the eyes of European scouts.
