Sikitiwi Reveals List of Local National Team for “CHAN 2024”
Tarik Sikitiwi, coach of the Moroccan national local team, announced the official roster that will participate in the African Nations Championship “CHAN 2024.” This list includes a mix of experienced players and emerging talents from the professional league.
Sikitiwi selected three goalkeepers: Mehdi Lahrar, Rashid Ghanimi, and Omar Aqzdao. The defense line consists of Mohamed Mufid, Mohamed Boulksout, Mehdi Machkhekh, Marwan Louadni, Bouchaib Alarassi, Abdelhaq Asal, Youssef Belamri, and Fouad Zahwani.
The technical staff called up nine midfield players: Ayoub Khiri, Rabi Hrimat, Amin Suwan, Saber Bougrin, Hossam Al-Sadiq, Haji Reda, Anas Bash, and Khalid Ait Urkhan.
In the attack, the selected players include Youssef Mihri, Anas Al-Mehtawi, Saif Al-Din Bouhara, Khalid Baba, Imad Reyahi, Salah Al-Din Rahouli, Ayoub Mouloua, Younes Al-Kaabi, and Osama Lamiliwi.
Sikitiwi is counting on the group’s cohesion, physical fitness, and technical readiness to advance far in this continental competition, where Morocco aims to reaffirm its dominance on the African stage following victories in the 2018 and 2020 editions.
