CAC aims to return to the elite… and Doumou leads the promotion project with a streamlined budget and strong structure
The Kenitra club raises the banner of returning to the top division, having relieved itself of a significant portion of the debts that have weighed it down for years. The management, led by Hakim Doumou, enters its third season with clear objectives, primarily aimed at achieving promotion and restoring the Knight of Sebou to its rightful place among the elite of professional football.
The new season will not be like the previous ones in Kenitra. The team is now more financially stable after repaying 780 million dirhams of its 1.3 billion dirham debts, allowing it to step away from the list of disputes and open a new chapter in its relationship with the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.
The financial foundation established by Doumou has been bolstered by enhancing infrastructure. The club’s management has created a new training ground with natural grass and advanced equipment, in addition to a professional gym and a dedicated dining area for players with symbolic incentives. The team also received its new bus after more than two years of waiting.
Attention to youth categories has been a priority for the management. The number of categories has increased to 19, a record that indicates a long-term plan for development, with the return of women’s football and futsal to the forefront.
All these factors place CAC in a better position compared to previous years. Doumou, who is well-versed in the intricacies of sports management thanks to his experience and connections within the football community, leads the new project with confidence and determination, focusing on bringing the club back into the spotlight.
The Kenitra fans are hopeful that this dream will become a reality, especially since all conditions for success are now in place. The only requirement, according to close sources from the club’s management, is to insulate the team from distractions and side conflicts that have hindered progress whenever CAC drew close to a comeback.
