In Brussels, Nasser Bourita Holds Bilateral Talks to Strengthen International Cooperation
Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, conducted a series of bilateral discussions with several of his European counterparts on Tuesday in Brussels, on the margins of the European Union ministerial meeting with Southern Neighborhood countries.
The talks focused on ways to enhance cooperation between Morocco and its European partners in various fields, particularly regional security, investment, migration issues, and green energy. Discussions also covered developments in the regional situation in North Africa and the Sahel, alongside upcoming international obligations.
During his meetings, Bourita emphasized the importance of the strategic partnership between the Kingdom and the European Union, stressing the need to renew cooperation mechanisms in line with current global challenges and to enhance the principle of mutual benefit.
The meetings included the foreign ministers of Spain, Belgium, France, and Italy, as well as the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
