On Monday, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, made an official visit to Skopje, where he held high-level talks with his North Macedonian counterpart, Timcho Moutsunski. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the two countries across various fields, culminating in the signing of two memorandums of understanding aimed at further expanding and structuring their sectoral partnership.

These legal instruments were signed during the working visit of Minister Bourita to Skopje, where he engaged in discussions with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of North Macedonia, Timcho Moutsunski.

Both parties expressed satisfaction with the continued enhancement of the legal framework in specific areas of mutual interest, reflecting their shared intention to establish lasting cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of North Macedonia.

The memorandum of understanding in the field of diplomatic training serves as a reference framework for cooperation activities between the foreign ministries of both countries, based on principles of reciprocity and mutual benefits.

It specifically aims to encourage the joint organization of training programs, hold opening conferences or high-level interventions during official visits of prominent figures from both nations, as well as exchange information, best practices, expertise, and analyses related to developments in the field of diplomatic training.

The signed memorandum of understanding in the tourism sector acts as a lever for bilateral cooperation, aiming to enhance the exchange of experiences, promote and mutually appreciate both countries as tourist destinations, strengthen institutional capacities, and coordinate participation in investment initiatives and specialized exhibitions. This framework will provide a better visibility for the tourism offerings of both nations in regional and international markets.
